I have some KM2's coming in a few days and before they mount them I would like to hear of follow ups on these tires.

Isn't this question kind alike putting the cart before the horse:meh:

Not really. I originally had the Km's on order and the tire shop accidentally ordered KM2's. She told me she could cancel the order and get the KM's but a thought came through my mind. What if 1 year down the road and I ruin 2 of the KM tires. I would be up the creek because the KM's have been discontinued.

Why would you even consider a discontinued tire unless they were a screaming deal? Chances are they have been sitting in a warehouse aging. Unless these are some new magic BFG radial I will give you an update and I don't even have any. They are great on the street since they are radials and like all the previous radial BFGs they will suffer from easily damaged sidewalls while wheeling. The same tradoffs radial tires have always suffered on a wheeling rig.

I was getting a screaming deal and I mean screaming. I read where the side wall strength was 33% stronger on the KM2's

I'll believe the 33% increase when I go to a wheeling event and someone does not frag a BFG MT rubbing up against a rock with the sidewall that someone just went past taking the same line with a Bias Swamper and came through unscathed. I consider myself lucky having run BFG MTs for a few years and only losing one tire.

ughhhh!!!!

stop postin BBQ.... you are rediculous and so are your post. just sit back and learn.

one surprise I didn't realize before, was that km2s are noticeably shorter then your average....unless MTRs aren't average :P

So are the KM's being discontinued for sure? Also BBQBoy what was the screaming deal on the KM's if you don't mind me asking? The price per tire?

I think going to the KM2's was a good decision.

Seriously, lighten up Francis - if you don't like BBQ's thread then go elsewhere.

:meh:

I have a set of MTR's on my Pig (35's) that have worked great. I done some moderate wheeling but nothing too extreme yet - will hopefully in June.

I would love a set of KM2's - and might get a set for my next tires on the Pig - either that or a set of Swampers. :D

$100 each installed

Damn nice price for any tire. What size are they?

worth buying 5, keeping the spare for your backup.

I Disagree! Please post in the future informing your positives or negatives that you found with your new skins!!

I can't get the KM's now. She went ahead and ordered me 5 of the KM2's for $850(including road hazard warranty) installed. Size is 33x10.5x15

We all expect pictures once they are installed. They should look great with the new 4" lift.
