Looking like a lot of stuff planned this winter for the UC crowd.
Dec 17th Adopt a Highway (AAH) 12am @ F-Mart on HWY 276
Jan 6th Monthly meeting in Easley, SC 6pm (we will let the Cuban decide)
Jan 12th-14th MLK in Tellico We have rented a house for club members
Feb 3rd Pool tournament and Monthly Meeting @ Barleys Taproom 6 pm
February 23rd-25th Upstate Cruisers travel to Cullowhee, NC for a dual ride. Those who want to camp in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and those who want to stay in a nice warm cabin near the trails. This ride will encompass all types of vehicles from stock to somewhat modified.
We have a tentative schedule in February to visit the Richmond Gear plant. This will be a great tour for those of us who would like to see how differential gears and lockers are made.
March 3rd we will be having our monthly meeting at Alan and mary Hardins house
A March trail ride has yet to be scheduled but plan on it being at the Gulches ORV Park in Laurens, SC
April 7th we will be having our monthly meeting at our club sponsor business, Ralph Hayes Toyota in Anderson, SC. You will not want to miss this event.
Also in April we will be doing Adopt A Highway trash pickup on the road going into Jones Gap State Park as well as having a clean the Cruisers Day where we all get together and help everyone get their vehicles clean and looking good for the spring season.
Looking ahead we have The Great Smokey Mountain Trail Ride in Tellico, TN May 14th-19th, Our Fourth of July BBQ cookout (not to be missed), Summer Blowout Trail Ride in Tellico, TN August 10th-12th with the East Coast FJ Cruiser Trail Team, a Dual Trail Ride with the Georgia Cruisers Sept 7th-9th, our Annual Meeting, Sept 29th this is the big UC gathering and this year we will have the FJ Cruiser team there, and a piggy get together and trail ride in Oct.
