Unusual vibration

Happened at HWY speed, started with little vibration, then got heavier which almost felt like having a flat tire. After a minute or so, it went disappear. It does not happen everyday; when it happens, everything on the dash is normal, there is no CEL, RPM does not go up and down. I already checked all tire pressure, it was find.

What am I missing?

Tire balance, propeller shafts & universal joints, wheel bearings, suspension assemble, steering assemble are all suspect. Start with the easiest and work your way through. Try and find a shop that has a Road Force tire balance with 5/150 finger plate, to get best wheel balance.

Did tre balance, bit did not know about road force. Going to give that a try, to see any different.

Take a look with the tire tech; at wheel & tire spinning for tire tread or side wall hop. Road Force will not do much for hop.

I ask for a reading of .005 or better on Road Force. New tires this may take 10 or 20K miles to wear down soft outer layer of tire before it holds .005 RF>.
