Started with little vibration at HWY speed, then TPS came on, continued to drive few more miles to the next exit, vibration got heavier, and I thought I had a flat, pull over checked all tire pressure, they all has around 35 PSI.

Got back on the truck and drove for another 20 miles at HWY speed with TPS light on, and once is away still got little vibration, pull over for some gas, started it up again, TPS light is gone!!!, put another 10 miles at "City" speed, everything seems to be normal, what am I missing?

Does the vibration has anything to do with the TPS light was on?

Throwing a few thoughts out there to ponder:
1. Maybe try a different tire pressure gauge? Digital? Double check pressures.

2. Have tires rebalanced. Maybe you threw a weight and the vibration as you said is throwing off the TPM

3. Ditto what swutah said ^

4. Reset the pressure threshold settings on the TPM system to 35 psi.

mine goes off all the time but from an actual leak! have a O ring seal bad on the stem but I have to remove entire tire to replace. not sure if you just may have had a bad sensor or loose connection?? I would be worried about the vibration more then the light one. but from experience if both vibration and light come on its a tire!

Mine goes off after an extended drive, then I can't reset the light until the tires have cooled off. No spare on the truck so it makes no sense!

What year is your truck? I believe the lx/LC only had direct TPMS system. If its a direct system, wheel balance shouldn't matter. It could be the threshold is set too high if it is giving you false readings. Obviously, also check the spare. If its still alerting you when all your tires are at 35+, air the 5 tires down to 28 and reset the system, then air to normal PSI.

sorry should have given some more info for ya;
mine is an 2006 LX the stems actually have the sensor that transmits the pressure to the inside; it goes of if the psi is off my more then 10psi in one particular tire; it may b set different in your area. if no vibrations I would venture to say its the sensor but then you have to go to to each individual tire and TAKE THE ENTIRE RUBBER TIRE OFF EEECK lots of work which is why I have not done mine. I actually isolated the one tire that is giving me the trouble but removing it, then removing rubber, getting new stem, replacing it, re mounting tire balancing then alignment wow! there is a process of re setting the tire psi management. se manual and then follow that; but once again the vibration hould be your biggest concern

I was wondering what year as well, and so it is a 2006, but what year did they start using a tire pressure monitoring system for the 100-series?
