Hi all

Probably already been discussed, but is there any plans to do the NLA large rectangular rubber bumper that fixes to the rear wheel carrier?

Roger,

I probably missed it, but has anyone installed your weatherstripping and reported back?

I need weatherstripping for all four doors on my 01/78 and am just trying to find someone who has installed them.

All I've seen are reports from people who haven't yet had time to install them.

Help me out?

Thanks!!

Danny (and @Vae Victus) ,

It wouldn't be fair for me to blow my own horn, but here's a representative email I received from a buyer on eBay. He's on MUD as well but I don't know his handle:

This product is made with great attention to detail. I tried finding decent aftermarket gaskets and all I could find was generic which I don't want to try again. Anyways, are you a seller on the ih8mud forum? If not, you should check it out. Lots of land cruiser people need good products like yours.

The things people come up with that hoover up my money is .......................wonderful. someone order a set a tell us what shipping runs

I've updated the item description with shipping rates information so you don't need to run through the system. I made it a flat rate comparable to what you might pay to ship these wheels across the United States.

wow, Racer, the floor-mat prototype looks great ... looking forward to final product ... I sent you a pm re the 78 fj40 washer fluid tank i.e. whether you'll e restocking ... mine's pretty brittle ...

I've received my weatherstripping, Roger.... Thanks!!

I also have the adhesive remover and the adhesive.

But, the weather has cooled down...

I haven't found this... Does anyone know what the minimum temperature is, for using the 3M Black Super Weatherstripping Adhesive? The data sheet says "4 minutes work time", so I presume, the colder the temp, the stiffer the adhesive. I have a north facing garage door, so it's shady and cold all day... I guess I may have to wait until winter, when it warms back up.

Bring it inside! That is why we have kitchen tables. Trust me, she will get over it.

If you can somehow fit it in the dishwasher first. Do that...

Y'all are too funny... I was curious about who would crack first... @emac came in way in front.

Dianna's actually out of town until Saturday, but I've been filling this little townhouse with all the UPS deliveries that arrive multiple times each day... I suspect she bought all of QVC's inventory.

The UPS driver thanks me every time he delivers... He says, "if it weren't for you, I'd be out of a job"... I just let him think it's me... Makes me feel puffy.

At any rate, there is no room inside anyway.

... And Dianna doesn't know that her car's been parked outdoors all week... Uh oh...

Yeah, but it took her years to get over my baking painted motorcycle parts in her oven. Not to mention a couple of new ovens since then...

I'd be happy to put weatherstripping on my 75 FST tailgate if you still need someone.
Could do it the day I get it and take pics with high quality camera.

Mark, any ETA on the test fitting? Sorry to be a PITA, but I'd like to finish production before Christmas if possible; otherwise it'd slip to next year.

Roger, I made time to clean off the old hatch weatherstrip last Friday. I had my sone put the new one in on Tuesday. The fit was perfect. I will try and do the small door next Tuesday. Not sure when I will get to the dropgate.

If it's any consolation, I've deliberately put the weatherstrips right in the middle of the rack I am organizing to make sure I don't forget I need to do this. I am just living one day at a time right now.l

Thank you so much. Your stash looks amazingly organized. If I had your inventory I'd probably never be able to find anything!

Just got these firewall grommets done. Sending a couple of these to @koxfarm who furnished the sample, and is now in the middle of a harness build. Production pieces won't be ready for another few weeks. It's another one of those things I'm trying to get done before Christmas.
