Hi All. The allignmetn shop has my F40 on the rack and it has major negative castor. I'm thinking I installed my HFS springs backwards.

Which way do the springs go? Long side back or long side forward.

Hey, UNO, Long side forward unless you're flipping them. Good luck!!

Turns out that I installed the springs correctly, it was the severe negative caster (front axel) that threw off the allignment guys. They added 3 degree shims and hopefully it will work out okay. The allignment mechanic told me that with the negative caster, the truck would float all over the road. They tried to get it as close to 0 as possible but I still might have handeling probems.

One thing we did muck up was the pinion angle in the rear axel. The pumpkin is raised too far upwards so I'm going to have to get that fixed. The mechanic who orginally welded it is going to make good and fix it when it's road worthy.

This little shizzel is strating to wear me thin...
