The best long term insurance policy is to get a Hewitt-Tech bypass or risk getting limp mode situation far off of the grid.

Temp workaround will be to disconnect the air pump and reset the codes to keep you out of limp mode. If not fixed with TSB updates and traveling far out make sure you have a general OBD reader with you for code reset. 10-13 gets free fix on failure for 10 years from in-service date regardless of mileage.

So that will work on the 460s? I have a 14 and could see doing that mod before I ever even have any issues.

remember...only center screw comes out......

Seams were tight on mine......tap slightly

Foam inside was in good shape...but its now gone
