Do you have any plans on making the mount even smaller? Without the option of having a storage space built in.
The reason I ask is that I still thing the entire setup sticks out too much in front of the seat and if the extinguisher was to be mounted closer to the floor and/or seat it wouldn't be in the way so much.

The answer is a pretty solid no. If you are designing around one clamp type and one extinguisher brand then yes it could be done but then you throw all options available. Nozzle and handle size are a big consideration.

Got all my updates from registration at wits'end to shipment of the mount in 2 hours time... talk about customer service.

...well, I hate to say it but your order was the exception not the rule. It happened to be pre-packaged and ready to go. Most items require further assembly. BUT I am trying to definitely narrow down the shipping time ;)

And that's why mine, order placed this morning, is going on the wife's side.

I found THE typo on Joey's website. I am hereby holding it's whereabouts ransom. Joey, if you want to sleep within the next three days message me and I will tell you where it is...for a fee. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Only because I am not an a****** and know that you will, literally, not sleep until you find it. And to spare all of us an 82 page thread about how you couldn't find the source of your typo no matter how much time, money, and parts you threw at it...

"Then this seat spacer will LIFT the front of the seat..." on the following page:

80 Series Fire Extinguisher Mount-Left Side

You're welcome. :santa: came early for Joey.

Awesome
Let's see the OCD kick in.

I almost went to bed without telling him where it was. But man, that would've been harsh. I didn't want blood on my hands.

with the Chair Lift Spacer, using the extinguisher mount on the passenger side, will the extinguisher still protrude and get in the way of the passenger's feet?

Man, not even a thank you from @NLXTACY for not punishing him. Next time I make him suffer!!

The ChairLift does nothing to the position of the mount. It only raises the front of the seat rail up by 3/4".

I totally expected that the #1 issue that was going to come up was the fact that the extinguisher was going to be under foot. This is where it best serves its purpose for access especially when you need it. If you stop focusing on the fact there is a bottle under your feet and just go ahead and step all over it you'll be happier. Mine is a foot rest. 1100 mile round trip last week and it didn't bother me nor my wife, and she complains about EVERY little thing I do to the truck :P
