I was swapping the vent lines on the charcoal canister, and noticed these loose vac lines tucked underneath it.

Are these just connected to the breather underneath the canister, or do they go somewhere else?

Thanks

It looks like your distributor ventilation plumbing isn’t hooked up

I think I've got it mostly hooked back up from the diagrams in another post , but I can't seem to find the filter that the thinner line off the distributor gets connected to.

Where would I find it in the truck? The image looked like it should be on the fire wall behind the Dist. or maybe up under the air filter by the carb...

#17810a on the first diagram in the PDF below (screen shot with circle above)

If anyone has a photo of it in the truck that would be a massive help and greatly appreciated.

If it's missing can I just hook it to a small fuel filter like a diff breather?

Thanks,

That filter is mounted on the inside of the firewall. The picture is of my 40, the orange / brownish looking hose attached to the firewall is what your looking for. The small metal pipe sticking out of your firewall.

Next to the heater valve, (at least on the 40) Thanks!

Still no joy, I slapped a generic fuel filter on it for now, hopefully someone has a Pic of the location on a early fj60.

I guarantee I'm gonna feel like an idiot when I finally find it... Sigh.
