How do I get the second trans temp? Background info with the only two different numbers on the VDJ code being:
RPOS: 1810 and 0810 to provide the two different sensors on the VDJ202R
RPOS: 2808 and ???? to provide the two different sensors on the URJ202R
got the mx v1.3 ultra-gauge delivered today,View attachment 966486
spent the Arvo playing with it
after a few frustrating hours I finally got the trans temp and torque converter lock ups to read on it
Very happy with product and cheap and easy to use
@TomasAllan I believe the 2016-2018 8-speed has different PIDs than the 2008-2015 6-speed, so his values probably won't work for you. I think there may be a posting with PIDs for the 8-speed somewhere though it may not be for the Scangauge/Ultragauge.
You should be able to get the torque converter temp too. The PIDs are the same, it's just the variables used that change. In EngineLink the calculation just changes from variables A and B to C and D, so for some set of values you probably just need to increment by 1 or 2. TC temp is nice because it's a leading indicator for where the pan temp is heading
Did you manage to read gauges ? If yes, which gauges? In my case I was able to read Pan/Torque Converter temp and Coolant temp. Although I want to read second gear box temp gauge, gear box indicator and t/c lockup status for my 2008, 5.7.I just received my ultra-gauge yesterday and got it hooked up but haven’t had a chance to set up the pages yet.
I was able to get the pan temp and coolant temp on my 2013 5.7.
