Here is a guy in TN wanting to trade a light duty Hobart plasma for a bender. This might be something the club would use more often. Mainly to cut sheetmetal and maybe small tabs for lights, etc. Not like you could build a buggy with one of these.

Just a thought, as renting a plasma out might actual get a return on the initial cost. Plus it is completely portable, so you don't even need a comp. to run it. Just a plug.

I also have a few things I would like to make before the bender goes bye bye. I would definitely chip in some $$$ on some tubing for a u can bend it day, or rent it for a few days. I need to make some bars for my trailer to mount a rtt to.

Marshall if you do want it stored some where outside of your shop, I can clear a corner of my garage and store it there. It's no where as big as your warehouse but is a decent sized shop.
 
Dredging up a really old thread, but do we still have the bender? I couldn't find (Our remember) the final outcome of "sell or trade it" movement. Might be looking to do some bending for a winter project.
