what year is your 40?
have you read up on using a knuckles out setup on your existing axle? unless it is a ball and claw

it's a 77. SA import. Not really sure what type they come with.

If it's like every import I have seen, it already has the fine splined birfs, so it would be a slam dunk easy deal to install discs on it....
