has anyone used a twin stick shifter bolted to the floor and ran hein joints and threaded rod back to the transfer case ar something like that if so pictures would be nice any help would be nice

Body shift?

I'd worry that body movement could lead to unintended shifting.:doh:
 
Yes you can use heims, but its best to have the shifter isolated to the Driveline, not the body..

and the above shifter is for a Minitruck T-case, it bolts to the top of the Tranny/t-case and only has short nubs on the other side that engage the 4ws
 
i know it has nubs that is where you can connect the rods to and run back to the transfer case. and you can mount the plate to the floor to hold it in place

Listen to Isotel and don't floor mount your shifters. The reason they are on the drivetrain stock is so when the body flexes you don't knock them out of gear. 40 bodies and frames flex when wheeling. Unless you run cables and skip the heim idea I don't think you will be happy with what you are planning.
 
Howdy! If your running stock transfer and transmission, why not just cut out the gate. It takes 5 minutes, and 0 dollars. If the nubs are too short on the bottom of this setup, it will not move the shifters far enough to change gears completely. John
