Thats not to say that the ElDorado design is not the best. I had thought of using the Pontiac/Buick calipers but never got around to doing the research if it would work for such a heavy truck.

This is for the next person who needs to do the rear brakes on the Snow Bruiser:

1.Tires off.
2.Remove calipers and pads
3.Bleed the system as usual, Then gravity bleed the calipers with the nipple horizontal to the ground.
4.Then install the pads on the calipers back out the piston if required until you barely get the pads over the rotor(Install 2 lug nuts on the rotor so it stays snug on the axle)
6.Remove the spring and cable from the e brake and make sure it stays on the stop!!
7. Actuate the arm forward until the calipers lock the rotor solid. Hold the piston at this position with a screw driver and return the e brake arm to stop.
8.Reinstall the spring and cable.
9. Pull e brake and insure rotors are locked up.
10. Check the brake pedal while the e brake is set and it should be high and firm.
11. If not re-bleed and reset e brake position.

Note: very important that you set the e brake position otherwise your brakes will suck.
