Besides, when I really need light to drive by I turn on the Squadron Pro's. And if it's all about making time over dirt then the covers come off the 4x Hella 4K HID's.

Totally understand, but it's an option for others whether you particularly like it or not. I like to see at night more that I care about that. Just personal taste.

Try a set of Baja Designs Squadron Pro's with the Combo lenses. You can turn the headlights off and still be able to see far better than with the HL's. Have a set on our '96 CTD and those HL's are so poor that you can't tell that I've turned the HL's off when the SP's are on. I'll warn you though, they're not inexpensive.

You could also pick up some of these. You can get aftermarket on Ebay. They are not plug and play and you will need to bubba wire them up. The Ebay lights don't have sockets. OEM does.

do you know any TECH. on when , pro-date TOYOTA updated from the square un-sealed Connector Housings on the Front Corner Lamps , to a Sealed Water Proof type ?

either round or square water proof ones to be clear here

i am finding little information on this topic , and it is important i feel to explore the splash-proof updated transition time line and actually see how TOYOTA had this laid out ?
