I do agree with everyone! it would be a waste of money and time for not ALOT of preformance and a v8 would be the best option, but hell who can blame me looking into it?! A v8 conversion is cool and one off more or less but i would sooo rather show off a 2f turbo ! :D

I say turbo the 2F. You never really know what it will do for you until you actually do it. You'd be the man for paving new ground.

145 RWhp out of an old tired 2F in a draw through design with a turbo.

Works great and I do not have any overheating problems.

I typically run about 12 lbs of boost.

Oh, jeez- we share the same bore spacing as the Chebby 6, right?

Well, in the late '60's, there was an aluminum OHC head for that thing- girlfriend had
one in her '67 FireTurd. It wasn't any great shakes at the time, but aluminum being
what it is...

you could get one, rework the combustion chamber (like we do when we race the old aluminum head BMWs)
get semi-hemi pistons into it....

cripes, I bet you could get close to 200 hp!

THEN add the water injection, NAWS, and maybe hit 220.

THing we all forget, though- if you size the turbo right, you get
a lot of extra torque, too. So a mid- sized turbo really WOULD
make a 2f into a cruiser. Just not a race car...

heh..
