I know this thread has aged quite a bit, but I'm replacing the brake calipers, pads, and rotors on my '08 TLC and am looking to upgrade for better braking. I read through this thread and understand that the 2016 TLC brakes are improved considerably. The quote above confused me though...Brian, are you referring to 2016 TLC or Tundra calipers? Are the 2016 TLC brake components direct bolt-on to the 2008 TLC? I have all the part numbers (thanks fellas), but don't want to order the parts to Hawaii only to find out they won't work. Thanks for the clarification.

No, the 2016 calipers will not bolt up. Toyota changed from 12mm bolts to 14mm on both Land Cruiser and Tundra in 2016. The only calipers that will bolt up to 2008 - 2015 LC are the stock 2007 - 2015 Tundra. The brake line then needs to be dealt with.
