For sale: Off Road Tear Drop trailer i Built in 2017. I used it for a few years, maybe a dozen weekend type trips. In May of last year I took it apart, sprayed Raptor Bedliner on frame, tongue box, and fenders. I also replaced the torsion style axle with the Timbren Axle Less suspension. (3500 offroad version that uses 5200 components including 12” electric brakes.

The frame is steel construction modeled after the Turtle Back design. I also purchased the tongue box and rear swing/tire carrier from Turtle Back.

the sleeping “box“ is 1” square steel tube. Composite aluminum skin on outside. Birch 1/4” inside. I used solid foam insulation in walls, floor, and ceiling.

Cabinets were custom made by cabinet maker in Tucson. They are Baltic birch.

Mattress is a 9” foam that has been cut into three sections. I sewed new covers using the original memory foam top. The covers can be zipped off and washed. If you have ever made a bed in a tear drop, you know it’s a pain to get sheet on when you are on top of it. The three section mattress solves that problem.

I just finished the install of the Propex HS2211 heater. There are heat vents near where your feet are and also through two round vents in center section of cabinets.

Ceiling has a Fantastic fan with rain sensor. And a CO and smoke detector.

The kitchen has LED lighting, sink, usb outlets, 6 gallon water heater, and a drawer in lower cabinet. Partner stove included. There are two 2.5 gallon propane tanks. One fuels the water heater and furnace. The other is for the stove. Swing out has drop down table. Sorry, no refrigerator. I always kept mine in my FJ so I had it wherever I was.

Has an 18 gallon water tank.

The tongue box has a two battery switch. One battery. Fuse block. Solar charge controller. Battery charger. 1000 watt pure sine invertor. There is a zamp solar input connection if the 100 watt renogy panel on roof is not enough. A pass through for various cords if needed. And a shore power connection. An OX tongue jack is included as is the max coupler.

Tires are brand new General Grabber ATx in 285/70/17 on Method wheels.

The left side of trailer has a 79” CVT awning with an ARB annex/room. I modified the annex to attach to the trailer to provide an easy way to enter trailer from the room.

The right side of the trailer has a Foxwing 270 degree awning. A porch light. The shower is on this side as is the water tank fill. The box you see houses the propex heater. I’m sure I’m missing details. Please ask if interested. Happy to share any info/pics.

Asking price: $26,500
