James, wanna drive up north that day? I'm gonna hit the FJ Rocks thing that Shotts is organizing. It's also on June 10th.
I went over the top of Chiva just the other day. Nice trail, you could do it for sure.

I would have liked to try the FJ cruise, but driving to just shy of Prescott so I can offroad and then drive right back is not what I consider fun. Had it been between the two major population centers of AZ (imagine that) I might have been down.
So did you go the to TOP of the falls? if so how do you get there?

So, turn right (really you go straight) staying on FR4405. (4405A goes to the Falls) You climb the challenging hill. Staying to the left is tough, the right is easy.
Once atop the first hill you take your first left (4405B) to dead end above the Falls.
Return to the main road, go left (uphill) and then take the next left (4426). This loops around above the Falls and returns to the main trail. Makes for a nice added loop.

John, why not go UP that side?
You'll drive through a 15' deep river while grinning ear to ear, but point you up a hill, lean you to the passenger side a bit, and lift a single tire about 3 feet in the air, you get all paranoid...sheesh.
(don't worry, peer pressure will get you up that side one of these days)

It's kinda hard to go up that side when you're running the opposite direction on a Land Rover Trail Run. Sunday? I'll be o the road.
What did you do last Monday? I'm really sorry I couldn't go. Hope you weren't alone? I'd like to run the Sutherland with you soon. Never done that and heard it's in EXTREME condition right now.

Well for those interested, I am gonna be at the circle K on Tanque Verde @ 08:30 and headin out at 09:00.
Circle K on TV at 8:30, are you talking about the last circle K, the one way out there about 3 miles before you hit the dirt at redington? I will plan on being there and maybe I can convince ripley to go. Also there are a few of us doing charloue on sunday, planning a night run, gonna hit the trail head in catalina about 3:00 pm if anyone is interested!

There has been a develpoment....
My voltage regulator has gone out and I am unable to source a new alt. Unless anybody has a 62 alternator they want to loan me I will have to opt out.
