Selling my 1997 FJ80 40th, as I'm inheriting my wife's 100 series. Tough to say goodbye, but have to choose 1.
  • 176k Miles
  • No Lockers
  • 3" OME Lift
  • Newer Radiator, Fan, and Hoses
  • EGR Valve replaced
  • Remote Start, Entry, and Revelco kill system (For Camping, hiking, hunting, etc)
  • Front Seat Bottoms Reupholstered to match
  • No Cracks in Dash- Mostly garage kept car
  • Bluetooth / Hands Free Stereo and Mic for phone
  • New Starter, Brakes (All 4 pads, new rotors up front), Battery (July 2018)
  • Weather Tec Floor Mats, Plus the original ones are included.
  • Has the rear seats for 7 Passenger seating.
  • No check engine light or engine codes.
  • Registered / Smogged in AZ through 2020.
  • All electronics work (Windows, Sunroof, Cruise, Wipers, etc)
  • Comes with 2 Keys, 2 Remotes, Manual, and Receipts for work done.
  • Has black chrome badges on back of car
The 'Bad':
  • Lived back east for part of it's life, but there is very minor rust underneath, as this car was garaged
  • Some small dents, scratches in paint, touched up paint, thin spots in paint on the hood - the usual for a 97 FJ.
  • Front seats don't move forward- the motors work, but you would have to move them forward manually if needed (Takes less than 5 minutes). This is very common for this car, as the seats have 2 worm screws each.
  • Drivers door handle and left passenger light have plastic missing
  • Antenna doesn't go up- But it has a bluetooth stereo so I never used it or needed it.
  • No longer have the running boards- They look silly with a lift on it, and the new owner will most likely put sliders on, or something similar.
  • Truck will need tires in about 6 months or so.
  • Birfield joints could stand to be repacked with grease at some point, but they aren't an issue, and work just fine.
  • Windshield has 2 rock chips that have been sealed and won't spread
  • The usual rust spot under the rear windshield wiper- they almost all have this, and is just superficial
  • Every 6 weeks or so I add 1/2 Qt Oil- it leaks some oil, but is typical.
A Pre-Buy Inspection was performed at Nippon Motors in Tucson, AZ, and the report from the pre-buy has been uploaded to the Google Drive below. However, I have no problem meeting you at your mechanic if you'd prefer a different inspection performed- nothing to hide here.

Here is a link to a nifty Google Drive I set up to drop in pics, receipts, Carfax, etc.

Please let me know if you'd like to see anything, or if I can clarify anything for you. Detailed pics have been dropped into Google Drive.

Asking is $10,750, which is very fair for this vehicle, considering mileage, original paint, etc. I have taken the stuff listed above into consideration when pricing. Thanks for checking it out.

Hi- $11k- I put it in the body of the listing- the forum asks you to not put it in the header- thanks!

I am located in Tucson AZ, and have no problem meeting up at a Mechanic or Cruiser Specialist of your choice to have it checked out. Here is a link to a nifty Google Drive I set up to drop in pics, receipts, Carfax, etc.

How can I see more than one pictures from your Google Drive?

Is it still for sale? Would like to get a little more info and maybe take a look at it.
