I'm so frustrated. I haven't been able to lock the truck from the key fob for a year.
I just spend 5 hours changing out the 4 lock actuator motors. Drivers door is a PIA BTW. The truck unlocks from the key, pulling the handle, from the unlock button but it will not lock.
I Must lock all four doors manually, close the door and hit the lock button on the fob to arm the alarm. Anyone have any other ideas. I want to start throwing things around the garage. Save me.
Spare Fob is not hidden in the truck

Just an idea…I see you changed 4, does it matter if the (5th) rear hatch actuator is malfunctioning? Symptoms sound odd though.

Any chance a spare key fob is hiding somewhere in the truck? The presence of key fob inside the truck will prevent locking with another key fob outside the truck. Disregard if you have already ruled this out!

I would take the panel of driver door back off and check if it's a ground problem or a power problem. Then trace the power or ground issue back.

It wouldn't be a FOB inside.. as when there is it locks and then unlocks.

Nope, The second on is hanging in the garage

Would you mind elaborating?

Is the driver door lock all doors button working? (it sound like it is not) If not then take a multi meter and check the driver door switch is sending power to the driver door actuator. I would start there. Maybe it is a problem with the switch?

Unrelated… where do you live!? 🤣

I briefly ran into this on my 100 series, and it was a ground issue. Can’t recall where I tracked that down, but worth a cursory look at applicable grounds.

Scroll down to third from the bottom. Long shot but it worked for me.
Sorry, huge brain cramp.
Meaning cycle the mechanical key in the driver's door? (just in case, you know, someone adds a post and messes up your numbering)

Yes, that worked on mine, my mouth is still hanging open because it makes no sense. I was puzzling how the truck would know if someone was trying to break in and remembered the back door switches and so I tried to cycle the key and it worked. Keyless entry started beeping and doors locked and unlocked again. Woo hoo over here.

Nope, I just tried that again. I still have to manually lock the doors and hit the button on the fob or door handle to arm the alarm.

I had a bad fuse take it out on my 100 in a similar way. No fob lock only manual. It was a known issue at the time I forget what fuse it was. I was throwing other codes though I think VSC?

Have you checked for the fuses? I believe it was a footwell fuse.

I would think a fuse would not allow it to lock or unlock. I've gone through them quickly and didn't find any. I do have the occasional hi lo light flashing but that is common on the 200s.
