Hello all. I removed the overhead console on my 2006 lx, it is secured with thin metal v-clips loosely attached to four plastic spikes which seat into half inch, or so, square metal brackets attached to the roof.
While I removed and reseated the two on the right side several times, the two clips on the left are no longer pliable enough to grab into the metal brackets at all so the console hangs down on the left side almost an inch despite being secured by one screw in the middle of the console that I was able to reattach.
Very frustrating, any ideas?
