Little project:), somewhere in that pile is a troopy...

And pictures say more than thousand words...

The allmighty 12H-T

HJ61 axles with lockers

Very cool. Is that a stock 4* series radiator that your're going to use?

Cable or electric actuated lockers?

What transmission?

Dan

Awesome! They're 60 series axles/diffs, so they'd be cable lockers I'd say.

Those look like Rover arms to me. Cruiser arms have a perpendicular sleeved bushing (like a leaf eye) but broncos, rovers, and a few other things use radius arms that have a linear bushing.
Sweet concept though. Pretty much what I want to build next.

The radius arms are from land rover defender 130, hdj80 springs.
The rover arms are quite alot cheaper here than LJ/HDJ arms, and the bushings are dirty cheap in england(EU country, so no taxes, etc, for me...)

This project is kind of on hold right now, trying to get this thing race ready:

been racing these 24 hour races two years now with the 45...
heres some info if someones interested: Off-Road Suunnistus Cup

I will take some more pictures when I get something done, long and cold winter coming, lots of time to do some troopy macig:)
