Do you need the length with bumpers or with out? Just let me know what all you need and i will go put a tape on it.

yes that would be great !
Wheel base, and rear wheel center to back of body.
and measuring from where the door closes to the rear of cab ( radius at the back)
also the inside fender well (horizontal) from the bend at gas tank to the rear.
Also wondering your opinion if the length works for you ?
I'm contemplating the next resto on my bj. bj40 into a 47 troopy.
Thanks
J.Mac
Ps. great looking 47series MoJoHJ47 ! can you post up some pics of that great looking Cruiser ?
I currently have a dd bj60 and they are pretty bad for rust so Ideally I will get rid of the bj 60 and just go with a troopy for ease of carrying gear/tools etc. Comparatively the 4_ series is a piece of cake to take care of body /metal wise.
My other 42 is close to getting back on the road after sitting for 6 years and though it's great driving a cruiser ! a 60 can't compare to the feeling of driving a 4_ series in my opinion.
Cheers !

Yes I will certainly do a build thread! when the time comes next year some time.
I was thinking of another pick up and the woman liked the look of the troopy so that is what I will do.
Getting the measurements together now in my spare time while trying to get 'ol faithful' back on the road.
(83 bj42- beige ) The troopy will be from my other 82 bj42.
It looks like I could mod a nice dual tool crib in the in the rear fenders.
I think I could utilize the full troopy length as that should be an ideal replacement for the 60.
Cheers
Though adding 14'' would be easier !

You mentioned having a 60... Could you donate it's frame?

I know of a JDM 80 frame that's got my wheels turning... But I have to be realistic, and know that's way to big a project.
