Troopy Cargo Bed Dimensions for Carpet

This is an odd one and very, VERY basic for this group.

Namely:

I have an '84 Troopy and am trying to lay down some basic carpeting in the rear cargo bed both to protect the rear cargo bed and make it more comfortable for my two young kids to crawl around back there (which they do frequently).

I'm really looking for rough dimensions at the moment so I can order the appropriate amount of carpeting from these guys:

If you look at the attached graphic, can anyone give me the approximate width and length of the full Troopy cargo bed? Again, this does not need to be accurate down to the milimeter as I just need to make sure I'm ordering the right approximate amount, which I'll then cut down when I'm back with the Troopy (it's currently out of NYC). There may be a slight flare (wider dimension) as you get very close to the front bench seat?

Between the wells it's about 41.25", back to rear brackets of front seats about 90".

As a side note, I put down 3/4" rubber horse stall mats from Tractor Supply Co. in my troopy, a 4x6' mat is about $40. It really helped with the sound deadening and wipe clean surface for cheap.

Just re-read the question I saw you are asking from the front jump seat front to to the back. Going from the top of the wheel well edge (before it slopes down) to the back outside edge is 80". Including the well slope to the floor adds another 4" in length.

HJ47 - thanks very much! That's incredibly helpful. At the moment, I have a home-made mat (one side black cordura, the other side grey fleece) down and it works fine. I'm hoping for something a little more heavy duty. Horse mat sounds like serious stuff. Does the heavy rubber leave any marking(s) on the metal when you pull it away?

The horse mat is HEAVY, like maybe 60lbs for a 4'x6' mat, so it stays in place just by the weight. It is smooth on face up side and has very small rubber bumps on the down face side. My troopy bed is painted black, but I don't see any paint wearing when I pull it up. Again with the weight you wouldn't have to 'friction fit' it between the wheel wells to stay put.

Here's a couple of pics during my install. I have Sienna mini-van captains and FJ40 double wide jump seats in the back, so I didn't have to worry about the stock troopy fold down legs on the jumps.
