tricking AHC H to 50mph.

Often when offroading I lift to high due to rocks, mud pits, etc, but then there is a flat section where I can easily drive at 30-40mph, followed by another section where I prefer I am in High. I hate to have to stop, rise to high again and drive. 🤷
I agree that it makes no sense on the highway.
You don't have to stop to rise it

the secret to mine seems to be that as long as i turn the auto level off and truck off before the H light stops flashing it’ll stay in H until 50.

It doesn't rise, unless I am in P.
Then either the non-US spec is different or yours is broken. It'll rise to h while moving. Or at least it should.

Someone else said theirs was annoying because they hated stopping for the same reason. We told them to try it while moving. It worked. They had just always assumed they needed to stop, but they did not need to.

Sounds like you kinda have the AHC override.
Sans the switch.

weird thing is, if I shut the truck off after the H light stops flashing, it will return to neutral at 20.

If the truck adjusts up, levels itself, then I turn off auto and the H light is still flashing and I shut it down. As long as I don't go over 50mph all subsequent restarts will remain at H, until I pass 50.

Im guessing I just jam up the trucks brain. I noticed this as I get a slight rub when turning / reverse at N with my wheel/tire but not at H. I got home the other day, put it in H to test something and before it was finished I shut it down. Next moring as I drove into work I took surface streets and about ½ there I was like wtf, its still in H. On the way home I took partial surface / highway and at 50 it returned to N. I tested the next day and same results.
