So you can't get OIL38020TRD filters anymore? I'm sure the stock ones are OK, and I'm good about intervals, but any recommendations?
Thanks

I’ve had two of the amsoil filters arrive with the glue media on the inside (clean portion) of the filter. They say it’s “fine,” and I disagree. I’m switching away from their filters from here on out.Another vote for amsoil filters here. Lots of threads on this both on mud and other oil related forums. As @bloc has mentioned ad nauseum (patient man for sure), there’s been effectively zero failures due to oil related issues on the 5.7L engine. Naturally aspirated V8’s are typically easy on oil, etc.
Consensus typically is OEM filters are “good enough,” but for me amsoil is what is installed on mine given better filter media comparatively.
