Hello,
Just finished a complete rebuild of my transfer, which went surprisingly well. Now for Phase-2, which is rebuilding my A343 transmission using a Transtar deluxe rebuild kit with steels. I knew this daunting day was coming and here I am...

This Transtar box is overflowing with O-rings, seals, and bags of other various parts. The labeling of bags is poor to non-existent, and there are no instructions for anything.

Has anyone gone through this process? What have you done? I can envision needing to replace an O-ring and having to examine every O-ring in the kit hoping to find that one matching O-ring. It just seems weird that a $450 kit with 100+ parts has no instructions.

The factory service manual is your instructions. That sucks nothing's labeled; maybe reach out to Transfer to find out WTF?

Working on automatics isn't really that hard. Just remember the three most important things are clean, clean and clean. Treat your work area like an operation room and you'll be fine.
