Looking for anyone wanting to help me install a new to me transfer case on the 100.... Let me know and I can have beer, homebrew, bottles, cans, whatever

I purchased a new to my transfer case, all bolts and wiring, hoping it is going to be a take off, bolt on.... fill with fluid... drive off.
 
First or second Saturday of Feb is what I am thinking

It had a leak, I called around about replacing the seals and the quotes were anywhere from 1200-2600... so I purchased one for 600 that has no leaks and no issues

A thought .... Pull out TC during the HAMOM, fix the leak, install, sell the other and get your $600 back.
 
Not a bad idea... or install new one, then fix the leak and sell? I had my front diff blow, and the issue started after that happened. So the leak may be associated with some sort of damage in the transfer case.....

That certainly speeds up the TC swap and allows for more time for :beer:. It just means sale of the original unit would include the disclaimer .... "could be damaged, just don't know."

So, how's that for mucking up your list of considerations?

Who in Charlotte can make this happen? Depending on the day, I could run down. Haven't been to charlotte in a while.
 
I am just looking to drink beer and work on the cruiser with some fellow Mud guys. I could do it alone but beer always taste better when it is being shared.
 
I'm not a beer drinker and that still sounds like good reasoning.
 
Got the Amsoil in last night so planning on this next weekend since I cut the hell out of my thumb and need to let it heal a little

No one has official said anything PM me if you want my address was thinking I would be able to get started around 10am...
