Tranny cooler line leaking (1 Viewer)

Any you guys have this on your 93 80 series LC.. is it just a remove /replace type of line that i get from Toyota dealership? Did a once over and its rusted and drops of tranny fluid is coming out...Been checking the tranny fluid thru the dipstick and sits between cool/hot. Shoulld be fine as long as the level is not low.

i'll monitor the level of the tranny until Friday.. and get the part from toyota or take it to my mechanic friend to replace Monday....

You could do the swap it as fast as possible route if you have the stones for it.

Have a bucket handy and go for it!

Depending on the length that is leaking I would think this would be a quick job with cleanup being a pain and topping off to ensure proper levels.

FSM should have ideal procedures...
