trailer hitch for 95 LC Prado - KJj78? (1 Viewer)

has any one mounted a trailer hitch on a Prado? I will need a small motorcycle trailer to got with me at times, and all I have located is one on etrailer.com - mod # c12181. Says not to exceed 300 lb tongue weight. I think this replaces the small "hook" affair on the rear. I'm looking for something more substantial for a slightly larger towing job but nothing really large.

I’ve not towed anything substantial but wouldn’t doubt its ability to handle a light trailer load. This will replace the ‘hook’ you’ve got on your bumper just fine (you’ll have to remove that weird step plate if it has it). I’m using this on my 1990 PZJ70 With bike racks.

I have this one on my 80. It's more expensive but I prefer the look. It does limit you to 2" as it's obviously fixed. You can mount it with a NATO chainplate or you can still get the eye bolts from Toyota (2 needed per hitch; 1 on each side in the bottom holes).
