J,

I'm digging that removable arm design. Is it difficult to remove from the brass bushing? Do you need a jacking screw on the underside to push it out?

D,

Its very easy, the arm pulls right out of the sleeve. No need for anything special to remove or install.

Very cool. The 80 and 100 guys will love that feature.

I've had over 300 inquiries on the 80 series for these arms... the 100s are a ways off... BUT, I hope to have a 100 in the driveway by the end of spring/early summer....

I've already got a few 100 sketches for the 100 bumpers. Just need time now.

Finishing up the 80 front bumper. I started on this last year for CruiserFest, but it never was completed. Now that I'm a ComeUp winch dealer I had to open the design up to receive a ComeUp 12.5, I imagine there are winches up to 16.5# that will fit in this bumper. I will offer this in a non-flare version as well.

Still a few things to finish up; recovery points and wing reinforcement backing.

Construction:

Center section all 1/4"
Frame plates 3/8"
Recovery points 1/2" ( tied into frame mounts)
Remaining shell 3/16"

Grill and Headlight protection 2" & 1-5/8" DOM

Shooting for 110-120# weight range

Grade 8.8 hardware will be included.

The rear bumper will have a 100% removable swingarm system. Yes, no spindles sticking out like a sore thumb with my new design..

A few pictures of the tacked up prototype.

Thanks all,

Jason

Excited to see the finished version! Been scouting out multiple front bumpers. This may just be the one! Props on the side wings coming up to meet the fender flares!

Pencil me in for a front bumper. Curious though, any photos without the upper bars? Or, are the needed for structural integrity?

Got you on the list.

No need for the bars at all. Just showing what a full optioned bumper would look like. These are all I have without the bars.

All 80 bumpers and a few other items are at the laser cutters. Hopefully about a week and I will have some good final numbers for the bumpers.

I picked up the slider treads and mocked out one main rail for all to see.

The 95-97 jig is finalized and once @LS1FJ40 gets here with his new rig the 93-94 that jig will be set and ready to go. Which should allow me to flip the jig for the 90-92 models..

All 80 sliders will be $550 bare metal plus shipping.

Nice looking sliders. I'd be interested in a set for a 92 when you get there.

Jig should be set in about two weeks. I'll add you to the list and contact you when I'm ready to go.

Also, these are a bolt on slider, not welded. here is a pic of how they look bolted up. 1/2" grade 8 yellow zinc custom u-bolts and laser cut frame plates. All fuel and brake line standoffs are supplied with kit.

looks good, any chance you could do the full length with metal so its a step?

Currently it is a "positioned step" but I could add diamond plate or expanded metal to completely close it off. But, for a laser cut tread like above I'd need several guys to do that.

J

expanded metal is fine, just want the entire thing covered as a step is all. Have you calculated shipping $$ yet?
