we are planning to leave the house at 9, will take gas at the Shell station on Shea and then motor on - the Googles say it's going to take 41 minutes from the house, but I will be going slower than 65mph in the open 40, so as to not get frozen in the truck - plus, the time it takes to get gas, and Michael definitely wants to air down at the entry on Four Peaks Road . . .

A very nice representation or people across the 4WD spectrum at today’s gathering, Kevin touched many with his knowledge and skills and will be missed greatly. Thank you TRAL for including all of us in this memorial.

On my way home Friday I saw an 80 on a trailer and I knew it was Kevin's old red 80. It made me think of the times I was there at the shop and saw ole red.

An amazing turn out today for what everyone agreed was the first annual Kevin Patterson run, thank you all for everything!

The first picture is before everyone got there (another 10 or so additional vehicles showed up) and the second was from the group of trucks which ran what we call Roller Coaster after lunch, complete with power discs!

And of course, a big line of trucks.

More to come. I know @Wingnut got some too, amongst several others.

today would have been Kevin's 60th birthday

so, taking into account Kevin's faible for Costco, Michael and I had a Veuve Kirkland in his memory on the patio tonight
