Traction Control kicking on during normal driving

I have the same issue with my newly acquired LX470 and mine does have play in the inner tie rods. It scared the s*** out of me when I took a high speed banking turn on the freeway. I've searched a few threads and a few members point to the same issue with the inner tie rods and that solved their problem... Hopefully I can replace mine later this week.

I forgot to update my issue. I replaced both inner tie rods and this fixed my problem. They both had some serious play in them. Its been over a year and around 10k miles since the vsc brake application on a banking left turn at highway speeds.

New inner tie rods, New lower control arms (with new ball joints) and a Good alignment shop did alignment. NOTHING HAS CHANGED!! I'm seriously at a loss and very frustrated at this point. Im not sure what else to do. Can the steering rack fail internally causing enough play to cause this?

Is it possible that its not the front end? Something to do with the rear axle?
Were you able to resolve this?

Old thread, but I wanted to post my problem and solution. I've replaced just about every possible suspension part on the front end over the past few years. I recently bought new tires (285/75R16 Open Country RT Trail) and FINALLY bit the bullet on a new rack and pinion that has been leaking for years, and had significant play in the inner and outer tie rod ends. After getting my 2k cruiser back from the shop, it drove like new. Smooth, quiet, etc. One day when getting off the interstate and turning left slightly, I had the same beeping and traction control light flashing. I could only recreate this in a specific braking/turning/40mph turn. After reading a bunch and knowing that I've already replaced dang near everything that could cause this problem, I checked the tire pressure to find the shop put 40 psi in a couple tires, and 36 in a couple more. After getting them all down to the same 36 psi, my problem seems to be fully resolved. I suspect the difference in diameter of the higher-pressure tires may have caused the trac control system to act up? I'm not sure how sensitive it is, but seems to make sense to me. Hope this helps anybody else that runs into the same issue. As mentioned in this thread previously, be sure to check your tire pressure first!
