Track off, 4Lo, and check engine lights all on.

Just to be clear, there are 4 (FOUR) Oxygen sensors on the 5.7L petrol engine. 2 (TWO) are in front of the catalytic converters on the LEFT and RIGHT and 2 (TWO) are after the catalytic converters on the LEFT and RIGHT. The 2 (TWO) in front of the catalytic converters are the same Part# while the 2 (TWO) behind the catalytic converters are different Part#'s as follows:

Front Left: 89467-04090
Front Right: 89467-04090
Rear Left: 89465-60370
Rear Right: 89465-36040

OK dealership called and said they ran a diagnostic and one of the two oxygen sensors is bad and needs replacing it is not under warranty and the cost is $710 for everything

@Kgillkehoe OK, it's been a week ... what was the resolution to your problem?

I've been experiencing this problem recently - VSC error message on the dash board display, and same idiot lights on the dash. Have reset with Carista a couple times. Lexus dealership cleared the codes for me one time, said it was likely gas cap. Don't think my problem is O2 sensor related.

Oh sorry I thought I posted the final outcome. dealership said that one oxygen sensor was bad and give me $100 off the final cost which came to $600 part of that was for the initial diagnostic which I think was about $200 so it was about 400 give or take. So the rig has been running great since the fix and all is well thanks everybody. Guess is just a case of a bad oxygen sensor going too early.

I'm Pretty sure 8/80 means Oxygen Sensor and Air/Fuel Sensors as well as they are A PART OF THE Air/Fuel Metering System. Call Toyota of America and ask if this should be covered under the "Emissions Warranty". Here is a Link

I've been getting the same dash board readout periodically. Toyota Dealer in Iowa would just reset it and remind me to not overfill. Moved to NC and it happened again and the local dealer here thinks it is a bad filler neck. Around 600 to repair. I'm going to buy a code reader and just see what the code is. Not sure how a filer neck goes bad.

It’s probably the charcoal canister. There are lots of this code reported and basically people just reset and move on. Some folks who added a second fuel tank bought a new canister at the same time and stopped getting the code.

One thing to try to ‘treat ‘ it is to underfill or stop filling at first pump auto shutoff to give canister time to dry out

Wow. At least all the parts are collocated with the canister and pretty easy to access.
Hint on the green clips on the evap hoses, they only go halfway, don’t remove them.

I have an aux. fuel tank. Evan was replaced 12,000 miles ago. I was thinking the cold weather is causing this. I get the codes once per week.
I’ll keep you guys updated.

It probably is running the evap check about the often. I admit I don’t remember if it is a daily or weekly diagnostic, or some other schedule.

I had this on a GX470. I removed the rubber gasket on the fuel cap (had small dry-rot cracks) and flipped it over so the less worn side was against the filler tube.
Codes and Christmas tree light display disappeared. Stayed gone until I sold the vehicle.

Spoke to soon. Got the TRAC OFF. Put it in 4Lo and now it won’t go back to 4Hi. I have an appointment next week with the dealer. I’m thinking of trading in for a 2022 Tundra.
