About six months ago I had a problem where my Land Cruiser would cut out and occasionally die when the engine warmed up. I traced the problem to the cannon plug at the TPS, where wiggling the plug would replicate the problem exactly. The male and of the cannon plug looked dry-rotted and the rubber was in bad shape. Fortunately I had bought a bunch of used parts from another 'Mud member and a TPS sensor was one of them. I spliced the wires from the new(er) plug into my existing harness and the problem was solved...for about six months. Now the problem is starting to reoccur and it is the same thing - wiggling the wires will cause the truck to cut out. It looks like I need another cannon plug for the TPS. A couple of questions: is there a source where I can get a new cannon plug to fit the TPS, and is this cannon plug hard wired to the harness or is there a connection downline that I can disconnect and plug in a new cannon plug assembly? I've looked at the wiring and studied the FSM but I can't see any plug downstream. I'd hate to have to purchase a whole new wiring harness just for one cannon plug.

Thanks, Jeff

I broke the plug taking it off for the first time a while back, just the plastic outer piece that holds the metal clip (lost that in the process also) in place that hold the plug to the tps.
