I placed on Order for an Oil Wire connector ($115.00) on 4/6/2024. As soon as I placed the order I of course found my original in the garage and immediately emailed him to try and cancel the order. I also tried to notify him via PayPal, I’m not super savvy with PayPal and it “opened a case.” Once I realized that I contacted them and they “closed” it.

He returned a message on here saying he had already shipped it but, that I could return it and he would refund the money. Cool.

Well, I shipped it back and waited a month and still had not received my refund. I reached out to make sure he had gotten the part back and he said yes he had it, no problem, and that he’d work on the refund.

Well he sent some blurry picture about the refund not being able to process which makes so sense. It’s attached to my bank account and have had several transactions, including a parts return to summit that refunded no problem.

He then said he’s been on the phone with PayPal trying to resolve it. Resolve what? You have my PayPal info just send the money?

When I asked a few more times over the course of a week he went off the deep end and said I was trying to “SCAM HIM.” WHAT!?!

So now I’m out $126 with shipping it back plus I don’t even have the part.

He straight up stole from me. And as of this morning has blocked me on MUD

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS GUY. HES AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE.

Clowns like this are why people have less and less faith with small businesses.

- i have all ready outlined your other thread post ‘s , in the other thread , before your created another thread here , where your 1st initial profanity-laced post you made at me in the screen shot below ......

- go back to that other thread and review my notes i posted there for you to see and read ...

- you Do Not have :
a have a case open on PayPal as of now .... i did check before making this thread post

- i spoke to a live paypal person human voice they told me the case was closed ..

- she told me where to look in my paypal dash-board , it said exactly that

- i am not going to go further into this matter in this thread , i took the time to post the facts and you know where they are

- your oil wire connector parts order has been shipped back to you .

- I want you or explain to the folks why at the same exact time real-time-live , I was klearly in a transparent nature showing you Shopify billing would not permit me to credit you back to your your original funding source , you demanded I use Venmo and or Zelle instead ?

- your initial 1st post use of profanity directed at me below , in efforts to address this matter were and are a poor choice ....

i will not discuss this any longer , in any thread ...

The case closed after I made this thread smart guy.

You shipped it back? You were SO SURE that the refund had been processed though! And that I WAS TRYING TO SCAM YOU!

So if I HAD gotten my money back why on Earth would you ship back the wire? 😂 what a joke.

Matt has good products. And I can certainly see why buyers are frustrated. Two ideas to kick around:

1. Go to a COD model. It seems safe for both the buyer and seller.
2. Matt could follow CityRacer's practice of pausing new purchases. This would allow him to catch up on his backlog and set the right expectations.

Good luck on working through this.

He does this already. I have seen it 2 times since i ordered ...... still waiting on even a return email saying that he at least acknowledges my order and is working toward refunding or at this point shipping it.....

I've ordered items from Matt in the past with good results. That said, the impression I get is that he has high demand and not enough or the correct resources to deal with the volume. This is compounded by him having multiple sources of contact i.e. his website, this forum, facecrook, instagag etc. There is no way one person can manage all of this social media effectively.

Matt, if your listening, time to consolidate your methods of comms to one source until you have things under control.

There is no backlog, the guy is selling parts he doesn't have and waiting to catch them at a price he can make a profit on while also hoping the customer just disappears and he keeps the cash. Guys have received orders that placed them weeks and months after other guys who haven't received theirs, even for the same items go back in these threads you'll find that.

I do e-commerce, the grunt work, processing, picking, packing and shipping orders is by far and away the easiest part of the business and I promise I have 100x more SKU's than this guy does at least. I don't care if you have a thousand "backlog" orders it would take you all of one night of hard work to get caught up....trust me I've done it all on my own when I was first starting out and got lucky on hot products during the holiday rush back when there still was one.

Stop making excuses for this crap all you're doing is enabling him to scam more guys. At the very very least if he actually had the products he took money for he would ship them to the guys complaining and keep the scam going, he doesn't have what he sold.

3. Hire someone to interpret his incoherent posts, rewrite and edit before he hits send.
4. Add a photo filter to exclude all the extraneous and irrelevant photos.

Just FYI he blocked me on MUD so he won’t see this thread. In fact, he unblocked me, comment so nonsense then blocked again. 😂 oh and I’m still out $126 and I seriously doubt he shipped me back the product.

He'll still see the thread with another account. Ever notice the guys who have it set so that nobody can see their profile commenting in defense of these vendors?

He's had me blocked ever since I called him out for posting a 3 year old picture that he has posted before which he tried to use as an excuse as to why he hasn't shipped anyone's orders out.
