COD is best.... you could check your order and then pay after you are happy that all the parts were shipped.Matt has good products. And I can certainly see why buyers are frustrated. Two ideas to kick around:
1. Go to a COD model. It seems safe for both the buyer and seller.
2. Matt could follow CityRacer's practice of pausing new purchases. This would allow him to catch up on his backlog and set the right expectations.

Is anyone actually receiving their orders? I've been waiting 3 months with no vendor reply to multiple emails asking about order status.

Hope he figures it out. I root for the little guy and buy from the Mom & Pop stores/restaurants when I can but this one is trying my patience.No dog in the fight either way, but a few observations I have had over the past few years...
I do recall him putting a help wanted post out a few years ago (2020?) to help him with processing, packing and shipping orders.
I even reached out to him about it given my experience in the automotive parts industry, but commute wasn't going to make sense.
So perhaps this is why there is confusion and backlog, however as has been logically pointed out in this thread, you can overcome that by ceasing new orders and pulling a few all nighters.
When I was looking for a key lock cylinder for the junky Tundra I had, I contacted Matt because of his claim to accessibility to Toyota keys and all that entails, and he took a solid hour on the phone with me to provide a lot of insight and assistance with me, which does say a lot in regards to customer service. This leads me to believe the proper intention is there.
Lastly I recall seeing in another thread, and from what I remember on the phone, English isn't his first language, which may explain the sometimes incoherent posts- things are perhaps "lost in translation"?
Regardless, there should be a proper addressing.
EDIT: Looks like he posted again at the beginning of this year for help- He is near Annapolis, Maryland.

well just found this thread and guess im not the only one having issues with toyotamatt…. I have been trying to get ahold of him for a few weeks now with one response yesterday night via PM I sent he responded immediately and now nothing for a whole day so far…
If he is in dire need of help he needs to stop orders for time being and catch up or ar least let everyone know what is going on… this will probably be my last order from him hopefully he comes thru with my current order soon….

Great assets to our community don’t continually screw folks over. There is always those folks who think it’s ok since they got their little part but others were screwed…..He has been great to work with. And is a great asset to the community. I needed some A/C hoses and got them days later for my FJ80 LS swap.
