Got home last night and found the new issue of Toyota Trails with the third and final installment of Kevin's Baja 1000 write up.

What an amazing adventure.

Bastard! I don't have mine yet!

Thanks Dan!

I have been a TLCA member for over 10 years (#9060) and want to give them a huge THANK YOU for helping out with this and covering it for us!

How about some media/video of the truck? I'd hope that you guys took some footage of it when you tested it a little

uh what? my "testing" consisted of the first 210 miles of the race! :flipoff2:

I also found mine in the mailbox today and already read that write up!

As an added bonus, I also received my March/April issue of 4WD Toyota Owner magazine.

...and no bills. A great mail day.:cheers:

Oh and SORRY Kevin you lose the 80 wins!!!! :flipoff2:

HA! The 100 won in all of the categories that i care about and was the reason i changed over.

Mark, you are welcome to drive my 100 any time to get a feel for what a decent engine and real set of brakes feel like! :D

Bro, I'm still under 30 I have to put in my time before I can move up for the plush ride. Besides I am already spoiled having an 80 for my first 4x. It will only go down hill from here :frown: unless Toyota gets their act together.

BTW are you going to update your Baja Overland stickers to make them appear more Camry Like? :flipoff2:

Ahhhh, i see, it all makes sense now!

My 4x4s in order of ownership:

-76 FJ40
-73 FJ40
-89 Jeep YJ (given to me, lots of fun, too small)
-99 Taco (too damn small)
-87 FJ60
-91 FJ80 (sold to pay for divorce)
-93 FZJ80
-99 UZJ100

As you can see by the timeline, i went from hard to soft in a long transition! :)

Ha! No, my partner still rocks a badass 80 :flipoff2:

Damn Communists! I haven't gotten mine either. I always seem to be the last to get any of my monthly mags.

Maybe you should start tipping your postman at Christmas..... :flipoff2:

Nah, too cheap for that. ;p Plus I am sure it is a conspiracy that goes much higher than the mailman. ;)

Great article !

read it a week and a half ago.....

I've come to learn (after a quick call to TLCA) that my membership just expired last month and I have to renew (no problem, BUT)...For some reason I wont get the March/april ed. and have to buy it in addition to my renewal fee. That F*&king sucks

I don't have mine yet damit, and I don't think my membership has expired either.
