Looks like a blast! You guys are full of torment for a cruiserhead who could not make the trip today! Family needs and the girl scouts kept me away. Better luck next time.
I may take a consolation trip to a ghost town near Mayer tomorrow with my old Montero for company.
Maybe I can bring the old truck and my 80 to the Fossel Creek clean-up next month.

Well it was a great day!

Thanks Tools for putting it all together.

Thanks Bman for the dogs!

Thanks Phil for helping me through those obstacles (3 months of no trails really took its toll on my clutch control!)

Thanks to the Trail Team for a fun day and more swag!

and thanks to everyone else for a great showing, it looks like we have a new staff photography team in Dan and Jessa.

All that being said, I finally got to use my winch - it works - and 20K miles and my 285 BFG ATs need replacing (hooray!).

I agree that his was a great event. Thanks everyone for putting it together. We sure enjoyed it. Nice weekend with a great bunch of folks!

Big THANKS! to the trail team

A Big thanks to the trail team in putting together an educational event, as well as providing some great swag!

The run was a great success, good food, good weather, good company, good scenery, great company & wheelin came together to make an awesome trip!

I was a little apprehensive bringing the cruiser on it's inagural run to a trail as challeging as payette can be, but if the worst thing that happend was a slashed TSL sidewall on the friday nights "pre run" with Phil, John, Norm, Tim and I. Based on the pics, I was not the only one to suffer the sharp rocks of payette...those right angle ledges can really work a number on a sidewall...

(big thanks to Norm for the loaner so I could run the trail with the rest of the group on saturday)

All in all I was happy that the cruiser stayed together, and seemed to be pretty confident on the trail. I definately have a long way to go before she is truly a reliable trail machine, but it seems that the build it is on the right track.

WTF did you do to your BFGs? They should last more than 20k. Time for 35s?
Great pics guys, thanks, I may have them all loaded by tomorrow with my weak connection!

Well, we had a great time! Got home (Tucson) at 2p.m. on Sunday and unpacked, did laundry, hit the grocery store then chilled. Zoe did not want to leave the camp site. She had so much fun. It was kinda funny watching her hang with Jaden, holding hands. Michelle said she overheard Zoe tell Jaden he was cute. Awww. I’m gonna have to keep an eye on that boy.

And special thanks to everyone who left behind cold beers to help me get my drink on!!

Well, I followed you and your bro over to many rock-stacles and chewed up my front tires - then rotated them and chewed up the front tires again. City/highway would give me 35-40K out of the same tires, but, where's the fun in that? And, yes, time for 35's. I got barely high centered 2x where the 33" tires spit gravel but just didn't bite...
