Only the gq patrol swb in Aus , the only gu two door is the ute avl

As far as a know the only 2 short versions sold now in Au are the Prado, the Jeep wrangler and the Mistu pajero. No toyotas or nissans. At least not in the last 5 years.

I dont know why... they all come from japan anyway...

Cheers, Venom

I dont think so... The 76 is a 71 with a longer chassis it is ver very similar. You would be able to fit the same engine airbags, etc in a 71.

But know that you mention it I havent seen any short wheel with the diesel v8. Like a Vdj71. I think they dont exist.

Cheers,

We only got the 76 wagon as its the vehicle which replaced the std model barn door 105 series, as there is no basic std barn door 200

In Dubai, GRJ71 does exist.:D Gas engine

Australia used to have the light duty swb, bundera, lj70. The unit was withdrawn in the early 90's due to lack of sales. So perhaps this is the reason why no more swb.

Yep the utes and Troopys much more practical for majority of Aussie so the swb and mwb in light and heavy duty were canned. such a shame I would love a boosted fzj74
