Are you still needing answers to the questions you posed in the first post, or has the work been performed successfully? :hhmm:

If you need an answer, then I believe that the solid front axle is receptive of the same parts regardless of year. In brief your looking for 1985 [and earlier] American model year parts.

If he is using 91 4Runner Calipers, he has vented rotors; 1985 pickups and 4Runners used solid rotors and smaller calipers. 91 4Runners had vented rotors and bigger calipers

He is most likely going to need some landcruiser rotors that solid axle guys use when they convert to vented rotors. I forget the range of years, but FJ40 and FJ60 rotors should work.

Shwing! Right hand drive, solid axle, 4 doors.... It's like yota porn!

cool, I have one of similar color and same body style in a 1989 hilux, though its nowhere as close to as cool as yours as its not runnning yet. I have yet to finish putting it together. Maybe Ill have a pinch of time to start on the motor mounts this weekend.

I want a 4door mini SOOOO bad..... stupid import laws. I guess in a couple years I will see if I can find a 1990 model to be the twin to my current mini pickup. I love those rigs.

Thanks for chasing down the answer! My '90 Hilux LN106 doesn't brake well at all. I'm going to try these Marlin rotors and some 4runner calipers and see what kind of improvement we get.
