Good enough for me.
After all, the square indicator light color can be easily changed by replacing the colored bulb caps with those of your liking.
The back-lit logo is another story. You can alter the color with bulb caps as well, but in doing so you dim the light considerably.

Now, since the back-lit color matches the other switches on the dash I will make the order. Thanks again for the info you posted.

[QUOTE = "98 SNAKE EATER, publicación: 3090468, miembro: 4010"] ¿Qué tal si utiliza un interruptor de calefactor trasero? :)

Hernan,
You'll likely do a lot better here if more people can understand your request. I have used Google Translate to help you out:

"How about if you use a rear heater switch? :)
It can be illuminated for "HI" and "LO" beams and a fog sticker can be obtained to replace the text "REAR HEAT" and fan: cool:
hello friends, help me with information like changing the switch stickers"
You're welcome.

looking to correctly identify the part # for this NON-USA fog lamp Switch

I removed it from a NON-USA 1991 80 Series

Thanks

I have not encountered that type switch in a 90-94 80. I have seen a similar switch in some 70s and 95+80 Series. 84165-16020.
EDIT:
Make that 84160-90K01.

Do you happen know if there is anything in the US harness ready to accept this switch?

Not that I have ever found.

60 series switch? Not same cut-out size as 80, US anyway

This is NOT a 60 Series switch , such as this one im using as a example here that is :

the 60 series switchs are more Boxy and square in shape

Good question. Definitely think it would be awesome if you could just pull something out of the depths of the dash, but having the correct plug would be a very close second.

After some digging have found a potentially good solution for fog light switches. Toyota part number 84160-44020 is the fog light with on light and happens to use the same plug as our (and by our, I mean 80 series, not some Delta product since I've already been asked) defrost switch, which also happens to be a common plug at the junkyard for other lit defrost switches. We can get the switches no problem (probably won't be stocking/selling on the site though), but the plug in the back needs to be sourced from junkyard, then wired up to a relay before hooking any high power LEDs/HIDs/whatevers up to it.

defrost switch from some random toyota in the junkyard and associated plug on top, aforementioned new fog light switch on bottom:

new fog light switch is a little longer than the defrost switch:

you could certainly just use the defrost switch (what I was planning to do and already had it in the dash) as-is or relabel one using @NLXTACY 's writeup on relabeling switches. I just really like the idea of a new OEM switch that fits and is intended for that purpose.

Scuse the dirt and old plastic, the new switch makes it look even worse, but fits right in there and looks great.

The fog light switch I stock looks very similar to the one you show although it's not Toyota. I have run this switch for over 10yrs without issue. I will have to check the plug to see if it will connect into the harness. The plug looks the same although its hard to confirm without digging into it.

That does look very similar. Is this one made in China?
