I'd be happy with a diesel hilux.
I believe Toyota is not replacing the fj-c as they already have a bunch of other 4x4 SUVs and trucks.

mmmmm diesel. I Think Toyota is concerned they wouldn't compete with the US truck market. I would buy a diesel from Toyota in a heartbeat.
All the crap the US makes the auto maker put on the diesel engine it probably not cost effective for Toyota to import them.
