Toybox and HJ60??

Hi guys I have been doing some research and I just want to know what gearbox I would have in my 1982 HJ60,
I believe it would either be the H41 or H42, what is the difference between them??

1st gear is basicaly the only difference..

H41 is the international 4 speed outside the US and it has the lower first gear. If you are asking if a toybox could bolt up to it, I would call Marlin Crawlers and ask them for the specifics.

So the H41, and H42 are the same g/box, only differing with the first gear ratio's?

And also a, I right if I say that the H41/42 came in fj/hj40 4-speed, with a single piece T/C, all the way through the the mid 1980's fj/hj60 when it came with a splitcase?

60's never came with a one piece case.
In the states that is.. It would not surprise me if they came with one elsewhere..

Cheers, I do have the split-case, and I guess it is bolted to an H41.
