Firestone Trans Force if you can get them in that size. We put Cooper 10 plys on Clutchee's trailer and he hasn't had a single issue.

thanks for the feedback guys.....

waiting on congress to agree on the budget. I'll start looking around now to see what options I have in tires and so forth. preset tire&wheel (not sure on the wheel size but its a 15 inch wheel, and the tires are 225-75-R15, I think a 16 inch tire maybe along the lines of a 225 or 235 in 75 profile would be good for a trailer and probably have a decent support in tire design and brand. I'll surf around and see what I can find

Tandem trailers somewhere in East Texas. It's hard to tell in the pic, but that's a riding lawn mower strapped to the top of the rear trailer.

Yeah..thats what is on there now..

I've decided to just go to a 16inch E rated truck tire (LT). Not sure on the size just yet, something not to far off from the above noted size so everything fits without further modification. I'll have to get some new wheels too. Probably something around same size but 16inch E rated tire... LT not ST.

Looks like 225/75R/16E is pretty common size...

I've seen good reviews on the BFG Commerical TA All Season (I don't do Firestone....no good experience with the local dealer). Any comments on other specific brands?

Any comment on hankook or kumho brands?

I assume the best route is a hwy all season type tire.
