Very nice Jon! Time to start trailer shopping?

Got some 11.00 20's at work that would look bitching on that thing. After the lift of course. :grinpimp:

Al - you're the resident expert - but seems if you could fit big rig tires on your truck that'd be the way to go - I believe a carcass can last something like 900K miles, you just have to continually retread...
A little bit bigger investment up front, but I think it'd pay for itself in the long run.

Not necessarily a good idea for off-road (wouldn't think sidwalls are as flexible for airing down etc)...but would be a great solution for tow rig or even a daily driver (if they made them small enough).

sorry bout the hijack - that truck looks awesome!

Looks very nice Jon, though we wouldn't really expect anything less would we? :D

In terms of tires last a long time and the ability to retread them for cheap it is a great investment. It makes the truck look great and at the same time has comfortable tires on it.
Biggest problem for Jon is the lack of a SFA on the Chevy. We have lots of Dodges and Fords come to our main center with this set up and they love it. I haven't seen any Chevys with this done (i'm sure there are some) But I would think the lift for the IFS would be a lot of $$$ and the weight of wheels (unless aluminum ones are sourced) would be taxing on the front shafts.
