Bump on this thread. I'm looking at replacing my hood insulation. Looks like going rate in the states in around $175. Looks like Tosshin has it for $52!? Am I looking at that right? Part number 53341-60100.

Don’t get too excited. Factor in shipping and you’ll sober up.

Bumping this to say thank you OP for sharing the site. I've had 2 orders from Tosshin since then. EMS delivery took 5 business days to Australia - note that before delivery there's 1-2 weeks of parts ordering.

Since they will charge shipping separately, you can check the shipping fee from japanpost ems calculator with the weight of your items. It's pretty accurate, i was charged for shipping same as what japanpost site have estimated. They have the cheapest parts but with shipping added, it gets closer to amayama pricing but still cheaper.
My last order would have been 750aud in amayama (more expensive parts which looks like shipping has been factored in, then they just hit with a flat rate 10aud delivery) while it was only 625aud in tosshin (cheaper parts but pay shipping later on when all parts are ready to be shipped). Customer service is also swift, had my inquiry replied to same day (japan business hours).

Funny how SEO can completely blind us to vendors... I just gave them a whirl as well. Although their website is about as klunky as can be, post Netscape Navigator, I managed to get the order assembled, confirmed, paid, and now shipped. Even if it is slower than some of the other more polished outlets, I was able to save almost 45% over Partsouq, Megazip, and Amayama for a complete set of diesel A750F solenoids. As long as I'm ordering reasonably sized parts and am in no dire need of expediency, I will continue to use Tosshin. Pretty cool find!

Hello. Are you still buying parts from Tosshin.com? Its a reliable, proven shop? Any problems?

I got a pair of seat cushions from them last month. took maybe 8 days. no issues

My second order with them is underway. Their process takes a little time, but pricing is great and they've been responsive to my questions. Thumbs up.

I've had a lot of good success with Impex.

One thing you really have to keep in mind, in my opinion, when ordering parts this way is you better know what you are ordering and part numbers. It's on you to make sure. I messed up with a pitman arm from partsque and they argued with me for over 3 months when I told them I gave them the correct updated pitman arm for the updated gear pump, but they wouldn't sell it to me and insisted on selling me the wrong part number. They refused to give me a refund or credit. They even wanted me to take the arm to an engineer to have them measure it!

Good timing on this bump. I just put in my first order on Tosshin for a couple small items and it's been stuck in "stock verification" ever since. Has anyone else had the stock verification process take a while too?

This is why you appear to save money when you buy from an online store, you are both the seller/agent and buyer.

Use a professional, human parts wholesaler and you won't have these problems.

Baggar11, "stock verification" in my current order took about a week, on the first order it took a bit longer than that. I'd say ping their customer service if your're worried - the one time I dropped them a note I got a reply ASAP.

I've ordered a lot of from PartsOUQ and Megazip and they do get things done faster. Tosshin certainly takes longer, but their pricing is generally (though not always) pretty fantastic.

Amayama also takes some time to respond to shipping info when the items have to be brought into their store before re-packaging. Just a FYI.
