Made some progress on the troopy yesterday at Wally's wildlife cruiser resto sanctuary. This gang of belligerent turkeys walked right into the shop and heckled my header sanding work. Some nerve!

Filled some holes in the rear crossmember from the PO. Found a long bolt that fit in the holes then cut 1/4" slivers off with the grinder and welded them in.

Met up with Krazyfj at Wallys on Saturday and picked up his 35in MTRs, put them on and built a mount for my Firestik today, now if only I had some unbent springs.

Work

I'm getting the 40 all ready for the long haul from western NY to the FG. Lots done, lots to do.

So far:

-replaced both bulkhead assemblies for my lockers. (they were installed wrong, missing parts, and leaking
air) THAT was a PITA...
-replaced seized winch motor
-installed 2 storage units, bolted to the floor
-replaced some shot electrical
-garage alignment
-diff cover gasket

**Painted my rear diff cover to match my shocks. I hear this makes your truck more 'Hardcore' and capable...

Still to do:

-install U-Bolt flip kit front/back
-pack tools into truck
-install new tire carrier at Randy's house!

Getting pumped for the FG and the 40's first BIG outing (For me at least)
