Can't wait to see this beast in action Gary!
You want those inner axles back that came with the Longs?
They won't fit the 40 axle, to long.

Front locker is installed and 3rd member is back in.
Allen head drain plug is in. Will build up some weld around it later.
Pounded some of the dents out of the front of the pumpkin,
need to look into some armor. you can see where the ring gear was rubbing
against the dent.
Mailed some parts out to VT.

Good work day.

Kinda what I'm thinking. Or this, $69 for a DIY kit and have Josh
put it on for me.

Use those inner axles to hold up your tomatoes this summer

Went to go look for this on the BTF site and only found the 8" one for a mini truck for $124. Happen to have a link for the Cruiser one for $69? I would pick on up for that price.

I think you would have to do a lot of modifying to get this one to fit. I just did the one at the top of this page with a lot of fitting, cutting and bending to make it work

The 4wd in the 4runner hasn't worked with the automatic since 2005. So today, I finished my MT conversion by wiring the ADD system to work with a FJ62 transfer control switch. Now it works fine. Installed Super Swampers for this season and truck is almost ready. Have to install winch, dual battery, air compressor, and 1st gen roll bar. Should have it all done for the meeting.

Yes, I am wheeling the 4runner this year. Sheri can wheel the FJC if she wants to. The 4runner has 4.88 gears, rear ARB, Marlin 4.7 TC gears, Stout Equipment rear bumper, TJM front bumper. Most of this was recycled from my 85 4runner when I scrapped it.
Had the dash apart in mine also, looking for the ADD relay, which was a little frustrating because evidently Toyota used an equivalent part labeled "fuel pump relay." Also had to remove the dash bulbs for all the A/T indicators such as A/T hi temp, ECT PWR, overdrive etc. Its back together now. I already have most of the parts for the rest of the install. National Luna dual batt sys, Warn M8000. Going to Sears now for a Die Hard Platinum Marine battery. I just need the boat dealer to crimp up some custom battery cables, then I am all set.

is the the 95 4runner? if you need some lift i think 80 series coils work and if so i have a set you can have

Nate, I would be interested in the 80 coils. I have seen threads with them installed, but may be too much lift (4"?) right now. The 4R suspension is almost stock. Front hasn't been touched and the rear only has OME 900 soft coils. With the rear bumper/tire carrier, the rear has dropped a little. My plans:

Short term: OME901 HD coils, maybe BJ spacers (depends on winch weight) Running 32s

Long term: SAS (have the axle already) and 80 series coils, extended lower control arms, panhard drop bracket and 34 or 35s

Pulled the floor mats out of the 4Runner. They were wet an pretty stinky.
I was prepared to find tons of rust, but the only spot was around one of the
drain plugs on the drivers side.
Did find a spot in the rear that will need some work. Looks like it might be a
body mount.
Mounting a new CB in for the trip South.
Ordered some parts from CDan last friday for the 40.
I'm Broke! : (
